- BADEN EMBROIDERYA variety of Applique work, in which motifs such as leaves and flowers (often hand painted) are cut out and sewn on to a foundation cloth, of a contrasting colour. The motifs are edged with chain stitch and the veins worked out in the herringbone or feather stitch.
